Last night we hosted our second cooking workshop lead by one of our volunteers
Following the success of our Iranian cooking workshop in May, we decided to move on to Ghanaian cuisine!
Under the expert guidance of our instructor, we delved into the art of preparing a classic Ghanaian dish known as ‘palava sauce.’ The dish, enriched with aromatic spices and flavors, was lovingly served with yams and golden, crispy fried plantains.
We prepared a large quantity to serve to people in need and then sat down to eat the rest together with a glass or two of wine. Everyone agreed that the dish was delicious!
Among our volunteers are several talented cooks from all over the world. More workshops introducing various cuisines are planned for later in the year. Watch this space for more information.
