The Community Café provides a welcoming space for everyone, helping to meet both the physical and social needs of our community.
All are welcome to come for pay-as-you-can coffee and food, good company, and a range of groups and services.
We’re in the process of launching the café, so stay tuned as things evolve!

What we do
We’re a volunteer-powered community café operating in the same space as the Community Kitchen. We offer holistic hospitality, bringing people together across differences.
The café is part of a Community Food Hub that, as well as serving drinks and simple meals, offers a range of other support for people experiencing food insecurity and hardship.
Groups & services
English Language Table
Wednesdays, 11:00–12:00
Come and practise your English for an hour at the café. All levels are welcome, although it helps if you can already hold a basic conversation.
Parent & Baby Group
Thursdays, 11:00–12:30
Come with your baby and spend time with other parents. A certified lactation consultant will be on hand to answer your questions.
Community Food Hub
We’ll be offering emergency non-perishable food supplies, fresh fruit and vegetables and access to other support for those in need.
Volunteer with us
Sign up for shifts on the ServeNow app, or contact the project manager if you’d like to help run a group, offer a service or volunteer with us on a more regular basis.
